Heritage Auto Coverage is free to use. When you request a quote or a referral through one of our partners — insurers, agencies, or licensed marketplaces — we may be paid a fee for connecting you. That is our primary source of revenue.

What it does not change

Our compensation does not change the price an insurer quotes you. You are quoted the insurer’s own rate, on the insurer’s own terms. It also does not decide what our guides recommend: the editorial team that writes and reviews content operates separately from these business relationships.

Why we disclose it everywhere

We are a comparison and referral service — not an insurance company, not an agency, and not owned by or affiliated with any carrier. Saying so clearly, on every page, is both the honest thing to do and what keeps us in good standing with the advertising platforms we rely on.
